Fab Fam Weekend Workshops
Dungeons & Dragons™: World Builders
Come join our education team in the Fab Lab Studios every Saturday in April to amp up your TTRPG game play! Using our state-of-the-art 3D printers, you can design and build your characters and print unique dice. We will even have a painting station to really bring your mini to life.
For fans of live action role play (LARPing) we will also have a station where you can use a laser cutter to design sigils and pieces for your costume.
Museum staff will not be facilitating games, but there will be space for participant-led sessions.
Tickets include access to all Museum exhibits — for more miniature vignettes check out Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle and Great Train Story.
Join us for an hour or all day, but make sure you have time to collect your designs.

- Saturdays in April 2025 (Apr. 5, 12, 19, 26) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Each Saturday: $30/person or $100/family of four
($27/90 for Griffin MSI members) - All four Saturdays: $100/person or $350/family of four
($90/315 for Griffin MSI members) - For teens and adults age 13 and up. Participants age 18 and older do not need to complete the registration form following ticketing.
Scholarships for camp fees are available for students and their families who demonstrate financial need. Contact us for details.
Buying as a gift?
Looking to give a camp to a young scientist, but you aren't their parent or guardian? You can give a Gift Card in the amount of the camp. Their parent or guardian can later redeem the card, select the camp and register the camper.
