Sets and Cameras

Characters in a story need a “where.” Set designers create the world that surrounds the characters, right down to the pebbles on the ground. Camera artists shape how and what we see in those places, making choices with virtual cameras regarding placement, movement and lenses. Tools like mathematics and observation help to design places that look and feel real to us… even if we’ve never been as small as a bug.
