We will offer Air: The Atmosphere Outside and Inside Your Classroom science teacher PD over 5 days during the 2024-2025 school year between October 2, 2024 and May 1, 2025 at Griffin MSI.
How to apply
To participate, teachers in grades 3 through 8 in the greater Chicago area apply using the form below. Applicants should have a strong desire to improve their science teaching pedagogy and a mindset that all students deserve access to high-quality, rigorous science learning experiences.
Selection priority is given first to our Priority Schools*, but all applicants will be considered. Applicants from Priority Schools* will automatically qualify for a scholarship to cover the $2500 tuition. Applicants from non-Priority schools can apply for scholarships to cover the tuition or their schools will be invoiced at a rate of $2500 per person. Information is provided in the form below.
Accepted applicants will be informed of their acceptance by September 20th. You will receive your acceptance and all course details via email.
* Priority Schools are defined as schools that are Title I eligible or whose total student population is at least 70% Black and/or Hispanic or Latino.
