Back for a second year due to popular demand, join us for a night of culture and merriment.
Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (21+)
Black Creativity Night Out is a 21+ event — part gallery walk, part party and all fun. Get a unique view of the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition and join timed sessions with many of the creators of these impactful works. Each artist will be stationed near their artwork and guests will have the unique opportunity to hear about their piece and artistic vision.
This adults-only event celebrates Black Creativity in all its forms. Highlighting Black creatives from the Chicagoland area and beyond, the evening will feature artists from the Juried Art Exhibition, performances, access to our incredible exhibits and specialty cocktails.
There will be so much to enjoy, but here’s some of what to expect:
- Explore the Museum without the daytime crowds
- DJ Bash Beats will be spinning all night
- Blaxican poet, artivist and author Leslé Honoré will perform original poetry
- See Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in the Rotunda
- Learn from featured artists about their work and process
Select Museum exhibits will be available during the evening. 007 Science, Coal Mine, Numbers in Nature and U-505 will not be open.
