(Re)Introducing the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry

For nearly a century, this Museum has celebrated the power of science and industry, inspiring the inventive genius in all who walk through our doors.

Since the announcement of Kenneth C. Griffin's historic $125M naming gift to the Museum in 2019, we've been building towards a time when the outside of our Museum reflects the progress we've made on the inside. Today, we're excited to reveal the next step in our evolution as the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry.

This gift helps us create exhibits of the future geared toward the next generation of scientists and leaders; it allows us to dig our heels in deeper to support science education in local schools and neighborhoods in new, more profound ways; and it enables us to carry out our mission to inspire the inventive genius in all of us. This gift allows us to be who we are, better. — Dr. Chevy Humphrey, President and CEO of Griffin MSI

We're inspired by what we make possible—connecting audiences with the wonder of science and the power of industry in the world around them. As we re-emerge as the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, we're moving forward with great purpose and respect for our history—challenging ourselves to progress, to modernize, to innovate, and to place our visitors and community at the center of all that we do.

We invite you to be part of our evolution.

Inspired by our vibrant community, we're refreshing our brand while remembering our roots.
