ArcelorMittal Field Trip Scholarships provide economically disadvantaged schools in northwest Indiana with free admission to Griffin MSI. 

Scholarships are provided to schools in Indiana’s Lake and Porter counties where a minimum of 51 percent of the student population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunches through the National School Lunch Program.

Funding is available for student groups in grades K–12 with a maximum of two classrooms per school.

Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding is for Museum Entry tickets only and cannot be used for Giant Dome Theater films or exhibits or tours that require an additional charge. Schools that receive funding will be asked to share student reflections on their experience. Field trips must be made before June 30, 2025.

Please reserve your field trip at least four weeks in advance (or earlier for peak seasons in April, May and December). Your principal must also submit a Principal Agreement Form for your application to be considered complete. We will contact you by email within two business days to confirm your reservation request.
