While this exhibit is no longer at Griffin MSI, you can explore What's Here to begin planning your visit.

Reconnect with your inner maker and build a dynamic piece of wearable technology. Create an LED ornament or circuit band!

In this beginner-friendly guided workshop, you’ll get hands-on with circuit building, analyze a prototype, and build fabricated materials into an ornament or wearable LED circuit band. You’ll learn about the workshop’s materials—most produced locally—and discover examples of the latest equipment allowing makers to create at home or in local makerspaces. Find your place in the maker movement this holiday season, with suggestions on how to continue creating in the forms you enjoy most—or never knew you’d enjoy until you try them.

Everyone is a maker. Even if it’s been a while since you made something just for fun, you were born to tinker and disassemble and build. You’re already part of Makers United.

Makers United is not included in Museum Entry, and requires a separate timed-entry ticket. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Children under 12 must be with a Makers United-ticketed chaperone (18 or older).
