It’s a sparkling start to your holiday season in Chicago!

Join Griffin MSI’s beloved annual tradition: the Tree Lighting & Cultural Festival kicking off the Christmas Around the World and Holiday of Lights exhibits. Take in the spectacle of more than 50 twinkling holiday trees and displays, each decorated to represent a different country. 

We'll flip the switch on our four-story Grand Tree at 11 a.m. with special guests actor Hualālai Chung and producer Christina Chen from Disney’s upcoming Moana 2. We’re also welcoming special guests Liv Warfield (America’s Got Talent) and Santa Larry, the first Black Santa to spread holiday cheer at the Mall of America. Join us for this day-long festival to enjoy: 

• Live performances from local cultural organizations
• Activities from Griffin MSI's education team, Chicago Public Library and others
• Seasonal samplings from featured sponsor Hotel Chocolat
• A brand-new “snow show” in the Rotunda
• Unique gifts available in the Holiday Shop
