In celebration of National STEM Day, we’re opening up our Learning Labs and inviting everyone in!

These programs are usually reserved for school groups, providing students hands-on experience with the scientific process as they use real tools and techniques to explore STEM. Now it’s your turn to think like a scientist or engineer by sampling some of our most popular programs in these special drop-in sessions.

• Crime Lab: Explore forensic science and learn how to analyze evidence like fingerprints.
  
  
• Engineering Design: Become a civil engineer and use the engineering design cycle as you design, build and test bridges.
  
  
• Mars 2040: Investigate ways to keep a colony of humans alive on Mars by meeting their needs for food, water, power and a safe atmosphere.
