As we continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we're seeking passionate professionals interested in getting youth and families excited about STEM careers at Griffin MSI's annual event, Science Works.

Science Works is on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Interactive career stations will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Load-in will begin at 8 a.m. Breakfast, snacks, parking and Museum Entry tickets will be provided to participating professionals.

At each career station, Griffin MSI will provide one 8-foot table, black linen, chairs, wireless internet and access to electricity (if needed).

Your station should include a short demonstration related to your career and content area. We encourage you to bring props, gear or uniform items that complement your career field. You also may want to bring your company or organization’s tablecloth, banner, or sign. Please be prepared to actively engage with guests and youth. No selling or solicitation is permitted.

Event Orientation Session: Thursday, September 23

To assist you in preparing a successful experience, we are hosting a required 60-minute event orientation session for all professionals held virtually on Thursday, September 23 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. We ask that at least one representative from each organization attend. This session will provide an opportunity to ask questions, get feedback on your ideas and meet other participating STEM professionals.

Please submit this form by Monday, September 13. We will let you know of your status no later than Wednesday, September 15.
