Through videoconferencing technology in the Museum of Science and Industry’s state-of-the-art e-Suite, this once-in-a-lifetime experience connects you to the operating room at Advocate Christ Medical Center to participate in live, open-heart surgery. You will be able to ask the surgical team, in real-time, questions about the surgery and heart health. On-site facilitators will explain the procedure and answer your questions. This program is suited to adults and children age 12 and older. Age limits will be strictly enforced. Don’t miss this amazing chance to witness a life-saving surgical procedure and to learn the importance of heart health. Space is extremely limited. Please arrive at the Museum by 8:45 a.m. on the morning of the program.
